Greetings! Welcome to the Dam and Reservoir Impact and Information Archive. Herein you'll find information on dams, water diversions, impoundments, and hydroelectric projects and their impacts around the world.
This archive will eventually include social, economic, political, ecological, geological, etc. information gleaned from a variety of sources, including refereed journals, "grey" literature, and magazine and newsletter articles.
Information is organized by geographic area, by project, and by impact type, and by whether it is at this site, or at another link.
We also have an some activist's information packages :
The newsgroup soc.culture.nepal used to carry frequent references to Nepal's now cancelled Arun3 cascade dam project. They may have info on the new huge Pancheshwar project.
