[OPIRG-EVENTS] Announcement of Coming Event

Please circulate the following announcement:

Ploughshares Ottawa resumes its monthly meetings on Thursday, September
13 at 7:30 p.m. in Parkdale United Church, 429 Parkdale Avenue, corner
of Gladstone Avenue (served by OC Transpo bus routes 2, 6 and 14).
At this first meeting of the 2001-02 season, the featured presentation
will be a video entitled "Peacemakers" from the United Nations.
Meetings usually last about an hour and a half and are followed by a
time for refreshments and socializing.
The group meets on the second Thursday of the month from September to
May.
Ploughshares Ottawa is affiliated with Project Ploughshares, a
Canada-wide peace organization based in Waterloo, Ontario.
