* le groupe de danse et percussions

la musique d'aujourd'hui nous viens généralement enveloppée dans des
paquets de métal et de plastique gravés au laser. cette musique est
produite par des compagnies trans-nationales. dans un groupe de danse et
percussions nous créons ensemble, spontanément, notre propre musique sans
devoir subir l'aliénation qu'on retrouve dans le domaine de la musique
commerciale aujourd'hui. 

il n'est pas nécessaire d'avoir un instrument. nous partageons les
instruments placés au centre du cercle, soient des tam-tams ou n'importe
quel autre instrument acoustique que ça soit fluttes ou lutes. si vous
apprenez un instrument percussion, nous apprendrons ensemble.

* what's a drum & dance circle?

today's music tends to come pre-packaged in metal and plastic
laser-etched containers produced by transnational corporations.
drum circles are different - we collectively create our own music,
and there isn't the alienation from music-maker that you find with
today's music industry.

if you don't have a drum, no problem - we share instruments placed in the
centre of the circle, and you can bring other acoustic instruments too
(bring flutes, bring lutes!). if you're new to drumming, we'll help you
learn.
