[OPIRG-EVENTS] Barrie Zwicker interview: CPAC TV: Sept 11 Foreknowledge




An Interview with Barrie Zwicker 
(journalist, media critic, host of VISION TV's MediaFile show) 

on issues related to the US government foreknowledge of terrorist attacks of September 11 

will appear on the Ken Rockburn's show on the Canadian Public Affairs Channel (CPAC) 

TONIGHT  (Thursday April 25) at 9 pm (Eastern Time)

... and it will be REPEATED ...

TOMORROW morning (April 26) at 1 am and 7 am (Eastern Time)

The show airs simultaneously across Canada.  
So, whatever time it is in your area -- when it's any of the above mentioned times here in Ottawa -- that's when to tune in!

About the WORKSHOP:
Barrie Zwicker's workshop on the relationships between activists and the media (both mainstream and alternative) will focus on key areas of concern for those interested in, and involved with peace, human rights and environmental campaigns.  Barrie will use video clips to illustrate some of his points.  There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.

Title:      SEPTEMBER 11:  A PRETEXT for WAR

When: 	     Saturday, April 27,  7:00 - 9:30 p.m.

What:       PRESENTATIONS by: Michel Chossudovsky and Barrie Zwicker
            Barrie and Michel will discuss how the terrorist attacks of September 11 have been used as a pretext to unleash the so-called "War on Terrorism" whose real purpose is to project U.S. military, political and economic control over Central Asia and elsewhere.

            VIDEO: "The Great Deception" (about 30 minutes)
            Barrie's controversial new video will also be shown on April 27.

An internationally acclaimed scholar, Michel Chossudovsky writes extensively on the civilian toll of globalization, the IMF, World Bank, NATO, US foreign policy and most recently, the wars against Yugoslavia and Afghanistan.  He is co-editor of the new magazine "Global Outlook."  The premiere issue, called "Stop the War," focuses on the hidden agenda behind the so-called 'War on Terrorism.'
