[OPIRG-EVENTS] Ontario NDP youth convention (fwd)
Hi everyone:
I wanteed to alert people on this list about an available space for
a young woman from downtown Ottawa at the Ontario Youth NDP convention.
the age bracket for youth within the NDP is b/w 14-26. The NDP Ottawa
Centre riding association has approved funding for four delegates, one of
whom must be a woman, and must live in the riding to attend the
conference. The conference is being held from August 14- 16th
in London. If you qualify, or know of someone who might, could you
please pass this on to her? The Ontario ND youth is still a small
organization, but it may be an opportunity for a few dynamic activists to
help shake things up a bit within the party. With the upcoming leadership
convention in January 2002, it may be an ideal time to get involved.
Please see email below for more info.
cheers,
nancyp.
