I was at the city meeting last night - pesticide lobby out in force - a
num ber of residents called for a total ban (i.e. none of the above),

Go to Principle #3, A Green and Environmentally Sensitive City then 
Section 7., Environmental Regulation:

"A pesticide use bylaw to control the non-essential use of pesticides 
in urban areas"

Say YES to it!

Mail the form in.

Don't delay - the deadline is 20 October

Section 7. Environmental Regulation Adopt bylaws that will protect 
the environment such as:

*  A tree-cutting bylaw that regulates the cutting of trees on private
and
public property.
*  A pesticide use bylaw to control the non-essential use of pesticides
in
urban areas.
*  A litter control bylaw.
