[OPIRG-EVENTS] Political Repression Course

The following course is being offered in the upcoming winter term at
Carleton University:

04.441 - A Seminar in United States Studies: The U.S. and Political
Repression

04.441 will examine the involvement of the United States government in
political repression in countries of the South, particularly its arming,
training, financing, and advising of military, political, and economic
elites (or favoured opposition groups) in those countries. The course is
scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., and is open to
students with third-year, fourth-year, or graduate standing.
