Mick Panesar has returned from the Peace Mission to Iraq.

He will speak to Canadian trade unionists and their allies about what 
the team learned of the situation in Iraq. He will talk about the 
decision that 11 years or war and sanctions have had on Iraqi 
workers, their families and communities.

He will tell the stories of health workers, education workers, city 
workers and child care workers trying to deliver needed services in a 
country wracked by the war for oil.
